brettA native of Kansas City, he moved to Tallahassee in 1996 and took up rowing his senior year of High School. He graduated from Leon in 1997 and Florida State University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities.  Brett began coaching for Leon Crew in 1999 and has worked with all squads at one time or another ever since. In addition to coaching, Brett is a City of Tallahassee Firefighter/EMT.

Brett currently holds a US Rowing Level III Coaching Certification.

dannyDanny began rowing in 2003 at Long Skinny Boat Camp here in Tallahassee. As a rower for Leon High School (now Capital City Rowing) he won three State Championships and medaled at Scholastic Nationals in the lightweight 4+. He also served as team caption his senior year. Danny is a Tallahassee native and graduated from Florida State University in 2011 with a B.S in Psychology and a B.A. in Family and Child Sciences. Danny started coaching with Capital City Rowing in 2008 and began serving as the men's varsity coach in 2011. Under his guidance, CCR has finished 16th, 12th and 15th nationally the past three years and earned numerous state and regional medals. Danny currently holds a Level II US Rowing coaching certification.

jonJonMichael began rowing in 2008 for Tallahassee Area Crew, which quickly merged to become Capital City Rowing. As a rower, he got silver in the varsity 8+ his senior year at the State Championships, and went on to compete at nationals in the varsity 4+. After rowing throughout high school, JonMichael attended Marietta College where he won the Freshman Heavyweight 8+ at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta. Now residing back in Tallahassee, he is finishing his degree at Tallahassee Community College, and started coaching at Capital City Rowing in the fall of 2014.

Taylor CCROriginally from Jacksonville, Taylor moved to Tallahassee where she attended Leon High School and took up rowing her senior year.  She graduated from Leon in 2010, and will graduate from Florida State University the Fall of 2016, with a Bachelor Degree in Dietetics and Human Sciences. Taylor started coaching for Capital City Rowers in 2014 and has coached the Middle School program for the past two years, where currently, she is the Head Coach for Middle School rowers this Fall.
