Who We Are

Middle school and high school kids from all walks of life come to Capital City Rowing, not because we focus on the importance of winning like other organizations, but because we create a healthy environment – socially, physically, emotionally – and teach the proper skill set to empower every rower to conquer the next challenge in their life. Capital City Rowing has been Tallahassee’s largest youth rowing program since its founding in 2008. CCR is dedicated to developing excellent student-athletes by fostering the values of discipline, teamwork, motivation, and healthy competition opportunity to improve rowing skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) community club; CCR is run by its elected Board of Directors. All members are encouraged to be involved in team activities through volunteer opportunities within the team and community.
