TALLAHASSEE'S PREMIER YOUTH ROWING CLUB
OUR VISION
"If You Want To Go Fast,
Go Alone.
If You Want To Go Far,
Go Together."
Since its establishment in 2008,
Capital City Rowing (CCR) has proudly held the distinction of being Tallahassee's largest youth rowing program. At CCR, we are committed to cultivating outstanding student-athletes by instilling the core values of discipline, teamwork, motivation, and healthy competition. Our program welcomes students in grades 6-12 from any Leon County school, private school, or homeschool, providing year-round training opportunities.
CCR ROWING PROGRAMS
Through our comprehensive training programs, we provide a structured and dynamic curriculum that emphasizes skill development, physical fitness, and personal growth for middle school and high school rowers. Our experienced coaches guide and mentor the athletes, fostering a sense of camaraderie and inspiring a love for the sport.
WE ALL PULL TOGETHER
CCR utilizes competitive rowing to promote strong character, high integrity, positive self-concept, contribution to community, and a healthy lifestyle for all youth and its surrounding communities. Rowing is unfamiliar to most American kids. But the sport can be quite empowering. Capital City Rowing believes in rowing – and are fighting to make it more accessible to youth across the Big Bend community.
WE STRIVE FOR
EXCELLENCE IN COACHING
“In rowing, you face backwards in order to see how far you have come instead of how far you have left to go.”
Capital City Rowing Club is fortunate to have coaches with experience and a commitment to excellence and professionalism. Having coaches with years of combined experience greatly benefits the club's programs and members.
